NATASHA ABe

Founder of Sanctuary Beauty Collective | Permanent Makeup Artist

Natasha is a cosmetic tattooer based in Durham, North Carolina specializing in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing. She moved down south from New York City where she started her career as a makeup artist and continued onto working and managing backstage at Fashion Week and editorial photo shoots. With her keen eye for perfection and strong background in makeup artistry, cosmetic tattooing felt like a natural progression and she started her journey into permanent makeup in 2015. Her business and clientele grew quickly and in early 2020 she opened Sanctuary Beauty Collective, a collective space for likeminded artists. Natasha is fully certified by the state of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to perform permanent makeup and paramedical tattoos. She is constantly furthering her education and has trained around the world with some of the best educators in the industry.

In her personal time, Natasha enjoys traveling home to visit her family in Hawaii, practicing yoga and checking out the local food scene with her husband.

LAURA Stankus

Lash Artist

After graduating from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill and receiving her esthetics certification, Laura jumped right into lashes! She took Fuzion Artistry's Classic + Volume class and trained under Kim La in Huntington Beach, California. Additionally she was trained by SugarlashPro in lash lifts. Eager to learn more techniques after several months of lashing professionally, she then attended Borboleta Beauty's Accelerated Artistry class and is now 2x certified in both classic and volume lashing techniques. She thrives on having her clients look their best 24/7 with her incredibly soft and natural looking lash sets.

In her personal time Laura enjoys filling her house with plants, hiking with friends and loving on her animals.

ANNA MCDOWELL

Permanent Makeup Artist

Anna is a cosmetic tattoo artist with a strong background in art and graphic design. She grew up surrounded by tattoo shops and began getting tattooed at a young age. Graphic design was something that she grew up doing regularly, and during her brief stint in college, she spent her time taking various art classes. After spending time abroad in Paris, France she came back to the Fayetteville area and found a position in a tattoo shop. After a year of learning the ins and outs, she discovered cosmetic tattooing and never looked back. Being able to combine tattooing, makeup, and art was the perfect fit. Since beginning her training 2 years ago she has invested all her time and energy into growing her skill set and expanding her knowledge in the permanent makeup industry. Anna has thrived in this career due to her perfectionist nature, dedication, and strong client relationships. Her number one priority is making people feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin. Anna is fully certified by the state of North Carolina Department of Health and Human services to preform permanent cosmetic services. 

In her personal time, Anna enjoys exploring museums, reading, and traveling.
